Field Trip is an opportunity for 'city folk' to get out of the city and into the fields.
It's a chance to get to know where our food is grown and who is growing it.
It is an opportunity for farmers to demonstrate how food is grown and raised and gives them a chance to talk to their urban consumers.
Field Trip provides a hands-on learning experience to help educate 'city folk' about why eating locally is incredibly important to their own health and to the collective health of our communities. Plus, it doesn't hurt that it's a lot of fun getting out of the city and getting a little muddy.
People come home refreshed, rejuvenated, inspired and enlightened.
